A Roadworthy Certificate Clyde North inspection checks whether an eligible vehicle meets applicable Victorian roadworthiness requirements at the time of inspection.
A roadworthy certificate is a safety inspection. It does not guarantee a vehicle’s future reliability or provide a complete mechanical assessment. If defects are found, we explain the result and the next steps.

A normal inspection usually takes around one to two hours. Timing may vary with the vehicle and inspection outcome.
If the vehicle passes, a certificate can be issued. If it does not pass, you receive a defect report.
We provide a defect report and explain what needs to be addressed before the vehicle can be reinspected.
If the vehicle is reinspected by the licensed tester within 14 days, you do not need to pay the full inspection fee again. Ask the workshop to confirm any repair or reinspection charges.
Roadworthy inspections are available for eligible electric and hybrid light vehicles. Tell us the make, model and powertrain when booking so we can confirm arrangements.
